It was a bittersweet weekend for the Colorado Buffaloes football team, as they routed the Oklahoma State Cowboys 52-0 in their first shutout since 2015 vs. Nicholls State. Despite their strong performance in their final regular season game of the year, the Buffs ultimately fell short of the Big 12 Championship, and therefore the College Football Playoff due to tiebreaker rules not going in their favor. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders racked up over 400 Yards Passing to go along with 4 TD's and 1 INT, while Travis Hunter all but sealed the Heisman trophy with 100+ Yards Receiving, 3 TD's, and an INT of his own.

Although the Buffs won't be headed to Indianapolis for the College Football Playoff, the post season still awaits them in the form of a bowl game. Their most likely games include the Valero Alamo Bowl vs. a Big 12 opponent in San Antonio, Texas, or the DirecTV Holiday Bowl vs. an ACC opponent in San Diego, California. The final decision will be announced on Sunday, December 8th after the conclusion of each conference championship.
